Youth Fireside

Question: How many people can I squish inside my cozy 2 bedroom home . . . ?

The Answer: 25-30 good-looking LDS youth (and leaders, too!)

I was responsible for putting on the Sunday night fireside for the Youth. It was a lot of FUN! I had a particularly exciting topic: A Return to Virtue. It was all about chastity and purity, a very thrilling topic to discuss with our latter-day youth! I LOVE the youth in our ward. They are so wonderful. Amazing, they are. Just amazing!

We had a very blunt and straightforward discussion about purity and then I showed a video (Mormon Message) by Sis. Dalton: Return to Virtue. One of my young women told me, "You made a very uncomfortable topic, comfortable." That made me very happy. :-) That was my goal! Look at all those cute faces!

I was SO grateful for the AC unit that my friend, Erin, let me borrow. We did not roast alive in the 100 degree heat!

It was a lovely evening. The future is in good hands. Our young people are good and powerful. I am so grateful to be a part of their lives!
