Our Disneyland Spring Vacation :-)

One morning during Spring Break, Sammi came into my room (bright and early) and said, "Mommy will you PLEASE make me Disneyland? You make the best Disneylands." First, I thought of all the things I wanted to do that day, and all the ways I could get out of it (making Disneyland is quite a process!) I knew she would remember my answer at this specific moment. If I said yes or no -- it would stick in her little memory of her mommy. So, this time, I said YES!! It was fun to create for them, and they sure loved it when it was done, it is still set up today! I have made a few Disneylands in the past and Sammi (my little Disney-fanatic) she just cannot get enough! So fun!

Here is the entrance, one of my favorite places at Disneyland, because it means the whole park is before you!

Our family, with the latest version of mouse-ears. :-)

The train ride (Thank you Geo-Trax!)
I must admit, I am a Disney-lover. I just cannot get enough! I am not sure what it is, I think I am just amazed at what inspired people are able to create. I do believe that, "Dreams can come true," which is a main theme of Disneyland. I love seeing it with child eyes, and getting just as excited to see Mickey as my children. I know that my friend Becky (and her family) understand. :-) I am grateful to my parents for providing opportunities in the past to go there -- such sweet fond memories I have of those times. When I die, I hope to be able to spend some time with Walt Disney. I would thank him for having a vision and making it a reality for all to enjoy. ;-)

  1. Cool! What a fun mom! Did you really make tiny mouse ears, or did you photo shop those in?
