This is the picture I created for my YW folder. I came across the picture of the girl dressed in armor and I thought it was pretty interesting. Many things crossed my mind as I looked at it. The thing that stuck out the most was that now is not a time that we can sit back and hide behind our shields, or shun the fight. We need to use our shields for protection, but now, we must pick up our swords and fight! Of course, I do not mean literally, but we must fight to defend our faith, and protect our families, and spread the gospel of truth. It is a time of missionary work, a time of courage, and strength to resist evil. It is a time to stand steadfast and immovable!!

Nice picture!! My first thought was, "Wow! You don't see young women decked out in armor very often!" I was really struck by the force of the picture. She knows who she is and where she is going.

Go YW!!! The Stake gave these pics to our girls at a YOuth Standards Night. What a great talk (based on the LDS book Armour) - she even had swimming noodles under the chapel benches for the fiery darts visual - AWESOME!
