He did it! Charles did it! He passed the Bar Exam! Hooray!
I do not think I have ever been so nervous about something in my whole life. Yet, somehow I was very calm. I literally felt the prayers of family and friends. We thank you. We recognize that Charles, though he studied amazingly hard, could not have done it on his own. We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for His help. We are so grateful to those of you who fasted and prayed and gave blessings. Charles truly felt His influence, His hand guided him through the process. He was even awoken in the night before the test and was prompted to study a topic that had not been on the Bar for 15 years, he studied it, and it was on the test the next morning!
Now, we can move forward. It is a huge hurdle that had to be jumped. We are so grateful, SO GRATEFUL. The results were listed on the internet and they were to be posted at 9am. I dropped Sammi off at school and then I went for a little walk and came home. I said a prayer before I checked the list to look for his name. It was there!! I smiled, laughed, then I dropped to my knees and thanked Heavenly Father. I cried and cried and felt very overwhelmingly happy. What a relief!!
Charles started college not able to write a complete sentence. I just want everyone to know - anything is possible!! NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!
HOORAYY!!!! Way to go!!!! I am so happy I just didn't even read the rest. Let me go do that.

ReplyDeleteI'm just in awe right now. As I read about 'the force' being w/ Charles, I felt so much joy for him and for you Mari. I got all emotional and cried w/ you. Tears of joy!!!! Mari, You were the wind beneath his wings! You lifted him when he felt like changing degrees. You prayed for him to press on. You listened to him tell you about laws you may not have understood, but you listened anyway. You were part of his "force." Well done. I am so PROUD of you both! What a wonderful example of teamwork, faith and determination. It is true, with God, NOTHING is impossible!
I am so thrilled for you Charles. I wish I were there to give you a big hug and take your family out to dinner to celebrate! I am just so happy for you all right now. I haven't felt this much joy in a long time. Wow!
Keep on supporting and encouraging each other...that's how we can have happy, successful marriages. I'll be teaching the lesson in RS from Spencer W. Kimball about Honorable, Happy, Successful Marriages. If anyone has any input, I would love to hear your thoughts.
gotta go, the piano tuner is here.
hugs,
Kary
