A hot day at the park

Daniel's feet are as big as Sammi's - they wear the same size shoe.
We spent the day at Sammi's school park today. It was in the 90's again and so was our apartment. I decided we had better get out and go to the park and find a nice tree to hang out under - so that is what we did. It was great. The kids would go play for awhile then come and join me under the tree. It was really roasty out. The kids got nice and pink. : )

They are all doing great. Sammi's head wound is all better. She ripped the glue out of her hair the other day (her hair came with it!) It is much better and no one will ever know it was there. To think the doctor got paid lots of money just to rub glue on her head - I could have done that!

Some funny things the kids have been saying lately. . .

We have been trying to convince the kids that daddy being a lawyer is a good thing, not a bad thing. They gained their opinion from the movie "Hook" and they talk about lawyers being like Pirates or the "bad guys". Anyhow, normally I tell Daniel, "Daddy is going to be a good lawyer who puts bad people in jail". So Daniel told Sammi, "Daddy is going to be a bad lawyer who puts good people in jail!" It happens!!

Sammi prays. . . "We are grateful that daddy can pass his big, big, big, big, test!"
Daniel prays. . . "Bless daddy to be a good lawyer." : )

Also, anytime William does any sort of "noise" (such as from the mouth or the bottom) they both just bust up laughing at him. It is hard not to join them - usually I do! He also makes these funny noises that sounds like Chewbacca - Charles loves that. : )

I love my family, they provide good laughs.
