Sammi Sick. . .

Here are some really sad pictures of Sammi. She has been sick this whole week. She has even missed school for the whole week. She has had a really bad, constant cough. Much like the cough I had at Christmas. It is so sad. She is really sad about missing school too. She would certainly spread it all around if she went, plus she is coughing so much and so hard there is no way she could handle it. Poor thing. So for now she is resting, resting. Daniel has a bit of it too, but not as bad. They both wake up in the night though, coughing so hard. A few days ago they were coughing so hard they threw-up. Yucky. Oh well, this too shall pass. So far I have been spared from this illness. I pray I can avoid it. Last time when I was coughing so hard I pulled a muscle in my side and it hurt so bad. No more of that! Sickness is yucky. It does, however, make you appreciate health!!

I did run yesterday. No stroller, just me. Charles was home and the weather was nice so I went. I feel so silly running now. I need a sign on my back that says I am pregnant, I just look like I have a beer belly. I also run SO slow now. Oh well, the important thing is, I can still do it! It still feels good, and I feel strong. I sure am hoping it will make a difference in the delivery room. Perhaps, no Epidural! Ha!

Yeah, we will see about that. How strong am I really? Do I really want to test that? Yikes! We will see how things pan out. It sure is getting closer and closer. I am really looking forward to getting little Will out. I think that is part of the process. I have hardly been thinking about it at all. Now, I am really feeling pregnant, and my belly is up under my chest, and he kicks SO HARD! I am not sure if I feel it more this time because I am all stretched out inside or if it is because there is less fluff on me this time. Whatever it is, I will be sitting there and suddenly WHAM-O my whole body moves. Tough guy. I am very curious to see how big he is too. Dan was a whopper at 9lbs 3oz. and he was over a week early. Sammi was 7lbs 8oz but she was 2 weeks early. Who knows about his guy. I am also starting to wonder what he will be like. I am hoping perhaps he might have brown eyes. I love brown eyes. That is why I married Charles. So far no brown, just blue. Do not get me wrong, I love blue eyes too. I am just curious what a brown eyed baby from our family might look like. We will see. . . less than 3 months left! Amazing!

I am so happy that in the last part of my pregnancy it will be turning into Spring. There is nothing better than Spring here. It is so beautiful. I have this favorite tree that is full of beautiful pink flowers. It is my special tree I run by and it makes me feel happy. I cannot wait to see some leaves and green grass and warm weather. I love it. Winter is not my thing really. I could do without snow completely. Spring here is like paradise. I love it. It has been foggy and cloudy for weeks now. I could do for a bit of sunlight. It really does make a huge difference. Come om Spring time! Come to me!! : )

Hope you all are well and good.

I am not sure you should test yourself on that epidural thing. That is no joking matter.

Poor Sammy. I was wondering if she was sick when I saw that first picture. Poor girl. I send my love. :)

  2. So far I have only been induced so an Epidural was almost required. This time I may try and go all natural and just let myself "pop" when the baby wants to come out. However, my doctor said he will induce me if the baby seems to be large like Daniel because he is not interested in delivering a 10 pound baby. So as for the Epidural, we shall see. If I am induced - it is essential, if I "pop" I will just have to see.

Sammi is doing ok. She was out of school the WHOLE week! Crazy. She just coughs all day and night. She seems to be getting a bit better though. Thank goodness!
