It is so freezing here! It has been getting down to 0 degree everyday for almost a week and will continue for a few more days! Yucky! I sure do not enjoy the bitter cold. We went for a walk yesterday and I think it was about 10 degrees at the time. It was so cold my eyelashes were freezing and I had my whole head wrapped in a scarf. Charles and I were all bundled up and the kids were loaded down with warm clothes and blankets with only their eyes showing. It was pretty funny, I should have taken a picture. It still felt good to get out though and walk. I am planning on it again today. It is too cold to run. I do have a limit to what damage I do to my body and running in that kind of weather is crazy, it hurts the lungs. So we walk as fast as we can - sometimes that feels just as good - if not better!
So I put up the pictures of summer time because I wanted to feel warmer. I am so excited for Spring time. I love to see the flowers bloom and the warmth creep in. Oh, how I love it! I am really looking forward to it this year because it means I will be popping out a baby! I have about 3 months and 2 weeks left of the pregnancy. So far things are going well. I have gained 10 lbs so far which is pretty good. My body is really changing now though, there is no more sucking it in at all. I am moving on to maternity clothes, even shirts now. There is starting to be a more obvious baby pouch. I will take a picture later and post it. The baby really kicks hard now. Sometimes he wakes me up in the night when he is having one of his tae-bo sessions. I am really getting anxious for baby to come now. It is to the point where I can tell my body is going to really become pregnant and there is no turning back! I just love the end result really, that is the only reason I do the pregnancy thing! : ) I am not too thrilled with what happens to the body in the process. What a true sacrifice. Amazing.
So Sammi is still having her silly boys bothering her at school. Her teacher did move her to another desk next to a girl (she was sitting right next to one of the lover boys). Hopefully, that will help a little. One of the boys goes to church too. On Saturday at a primary day he brought her more love notes and gave them to her there. One said, "I love you, I am your boyfriend" the other said, "I like your clothes" - yeah, weird. So, I asked Sammi to give the notes back to the boy and tell him she is not his girlfriend, etc. She did it. I also went and talked to the boys mother about it and she thought it was just a cute crush and she has been encouraging it. I explained to her that it is not just him but a few boys that are causing the problem for Sam at school and it is a distraction for her. These boys have also been writing on her school work and trying to hold her hand at school and things like that. Anyhow, I contacted her teacher about it last week and he was so gald I called because he was noticing a problem with these boys. He is on top of things now and he totally agrees with me that it is a problem. He is going to be sending the school counselor in to talk to the boys as well. It is such a weird thing. Being friends and playing games together as boys and girls I am totally ok with. Trying to be boyfriends and holding hands, etc - no way. We shall see what happens over time. In the meantime I am teaching both Sammi and Daniel how to treat other children and how to defend themselves. It has been a most interesting experience. I sure hope that it does not last long and that the boys will lose interest quickly! Karate - here we come!
Well, that is all for now. Hope you all have a great day!
