Family Flag

Here they are working together . . .
From a blank slate . . .
To our Family Motto:
(With the Coca-Colo symbol as inspiration.) :-)
There was a lot of thought put into each word. And everyone helped. For example, the word "find" was originally going to be "have". But they discussed it and thought that when they are low, they may not have courage, and they will need to "find" it.
I loved their profound discussions. :-)

They also discussed writing each individual family member's name on the flag, but they decided that we should just put "van Ormer" because we are "one".
A FAMILY.
I could have died and gone to Heaven, right then and there. :-)

There was downtime and the kids played a little basketball. The three little ones, Sam, Dan, and William were playing with their older brothers, Bennett and Ethan. They adore them. ;-)

Most of the boys finished decorating their buckets, but the girls could not even start theirs. (So much to do, so little time!) The boys were "done" in 5 minutes and I am CERTAIN the girls will go home and spend 5 hours (or more) making them beautiful!
:-)

It was another fun night!
I love all these children and I am so glad they are MINE!

  1. love the Flag
    especially about being "one"
Sounds like you'll have a Zion family for sure!

You can do this Mari. Your physical strength was made for trekking. I am sure of that. I would want to travel with the van Ormer family too because I know we would survive and endure to the end together. No one would be left behind.

    Happy Trails!
