I rewrote the lyrics to the song Hallelujah.
(You know, the song from Shrek.)
This video is my tribute to our school days . . .
and anyone who has gone through school -- especially with a young family.
They were the hardest days, but the sweetest days.
It was not the destination that changed our lives -- it was the journey.
This May marks 4 years since our graduation from law school.
Now those days are just memories . . .
Hallelujah.
I love this video, Mari! And it's wonderful to hear your voice again... BEAUTIFUL! I can't believe it's been 4 years.... It's weird getting older. I still feel like Jace and I are newlyweds in college.
ReplyDeleteWow, that was beautiful, Mari! Can you believe he's been out as long as he was in law school? I can't believe it's been four years since we left Spokane.
ReplyDeleteIt's been 9 years since Jeromy started med school. It doesn't seem like that long ago, but in another 9, Julia will be finishing her first year of college!
I don't think I told you...Jeromy got a job here in Denver, so we'll be staying here! He finishes his fellowship June 30 and will start his new job in mid July.
It is really strange how times flies so fast, and yet, I don't FEEL (on the inside) any older!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the quality of the sound . . . the web-streaming adds this tinny-fuzz to the sound. Just listen past it, if you can. ;-)
WONDERFUL! :) I love seeing all these pictures and hearing your sweet voice. :)
ReplyDeleteFrom Mom:

Jenny, my dear girl. You know I love you . . . because I sang AND "played" the piano just for YOU in front of people! :-) I think about you all the time. Good luck with your Relief Society lesson! Love!
Mom and Dad - could not have made it without your saving-sanity trips, toys, and fun. You reminded us there was a world outside to look forward to. Your generosity will never be forgotten! Love you lots and lots and forever.
Kary - it is because of you that I sing. All those years of listening to you when I was a little tot made all the difference. We will be singing together when you come to visit me! LOVE YOU SISTA!
