For Family Home Evening, we discussed Easter, and the Resurrection. For our coloring activity we decided to draw what we thought we would look like, after we are resurrected. This is what we came up with . . . . . .
Charles - He drew himself as a celestial body-builder. We can only hope! ;-)
Mari - I drew myself as a celestial mother, using a picture of Mary and baby Jesus as a guide. :-)
Sammi - She drew herself wearing pink -- it is her favorite color. ;-)
Daniel - He drew himself by the Pyramids. He said that he drew himself there, because there are dead people that are mummies, and they will be resurrected. I love FHE, it is so great. I love to talk about the gospel as part of our everyday living. It brings my heart such joy to hear our children come up with their own ideas, and I am especially amazed at how much children remember!

Cute pictures! I can never figure out fun ways to teach the gospel during HFE.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are such good artists. John and I tried it once and I don't think we will be drawing anything else for a while! :) Maybe coloring, but drawing is not our strength.
