A "Grand" Gift!

I actually wanted something for Christmas this year, but because our student loan payback began in December - money was really tight. Anyhow, I do not like discussing finances on my blog, because I generally try to stay positive. Let us just say that I know the blessings that come from paying your tithing! ;-) Heaven literally pours down upon you! I am SO grateful!

So, what I wanted was a piano. I wanted to learn, and I love music in the home. I did not want anything fancy, just a basic keyboard to get me started. Christmas came and went - my parents had even sent special gift money just for the piano. I had to choose whether I would get a piano, or get the kids presents. I opted to give the kids Christmas and I figured, the piano would come another time. So, honestly, I was a little sad on Christmas - wishing for Santa to remember me, too.

The other day there was a knock on the door. I peeked out the window and I saw a UPS truck in the driveway. I opened the door and what was left on my doorstep??? A PIANO!! I was SO happy, I cried with joy! Santa LIVES! He is residing in Samoa right now along with Mrs. Claus (My dad and mom). I was SO excited! I am often astonished at my parents generosity and kindness - they never cease to amaze me! To think my parents, on their mission, are still thinking of me, their daughter - it means SO much to me! I LOVE YOU DAD AND MOM!!! YOU ARE THE BEST EVER!!!

I will take pictures . . .

Lots of love,
Mari
