Here is a picture of me wearing my special sweatshirt from Charles. It says, "Gonzaga Mom" (my hair is in the way). I love it. I wanted one so I could take a piece of the school with me to Idaho.

Yesterday was 6 weeks after giving birth. The doctor checked me out and said I was "good to go". So - go I will!! I wanted to run but was unsure of how to do that with all three kids. We have a lovely double stroller and sometimes I put William in the baby backpack, but you cannot run with that on! So, I asked Sammi if she was up for a run. She said, "great!" - she loves to run. So, I put the two boys in the stroller and Sammi held onto a strap connected to the handlebar. Off we went! Sammi did it! She ran for 2 miles without stopping and I had to tell her to slow down so she did not burn out. Today it is as if she never ran, she feels great. Funny how kids are. Anyhow, that is what I will have to do, Sammi is running with me. I am so proud of her. She has always loved to run. I remember when she was 2 years old she ran a whole mile without stopping on the coastal trail in Alaska. I love my tough Sammi. What a great motivater!

Anyhow, that is all for now. I hear the call of the wild. William Turner is saying, "argh matey! give me some grub!" Gotta go!
