Last night Sammi and Daniel had their friends over Julia and James. They were so excited all day for them to come. They love to play together. Usually, Sammi and Julia put on plays and Daniel and James are the props (usually Princes). It is so funny to watch them together. Sammi and Julia are so dramatic and silly. Daniel and James like to play with trains and be boys - though I think Daniel enjoys being Prince Charming. They had so much fun together. We are sure going to miss them since we are both moving!
glad Sam and Dan had fun w/ their friends. I was impressed that you had them over. I guess you're just preparing for you future w/ five children, right? Oh, I forgot....Charles mentioned at one time something about 10 kids.....good luck. I'm sure they make a quadruple duple stroller somewhere out there for your future. : )
good luck house hunting Mari. You will find a safe, happy place...just remember: patience and perserverence. It is all about timing! Dad is right...It will all work out (and I might add, "after all you can do") Yes, the Lord's tender mercies are real. I love applying the scriptures to my personal life. It's amazing how they coincide and how we MUST liken the scriptures unto us today. Our answers are there for us today to know exactly what Heavenly fAther needs us to do. I'm so grateful you told me that Pres. Hinckley said, if you are ever feeling down, don't wait five minutes to pick up the book of mormon( I think that's what you told me), it really does work. Also, lately I've been working on what Pres. Faust talked about in a recent Ensign article. Not voicing our negative thoughts so that the adversary has NO power over us. Isn't that soooo great? I love that! So, I have been only saying positive things and I feel physically, mentally, emotionally and spirtually better. Yes, I still have thoughts that are not purely perfect, etc. but I do not voice them. I do not want to give the adversary an open target to attack. pres. Faust said, Satan can have no power over you unless you allow him to. Then he went on to talk about not saying our neg. thoughts out loud. In fact, I'm not even saying "I'm tired" out loud even when I am because I don't want any little fiery dart to work on that and say: "you are too tired to serve someone" "You need more rest" "you shouldn't walk today, you'll have a setback". I know we all have the power (the gift of the Holy Ghost to discern which voice is talking to us) there are times we must rest and we will know when, it's all about finding balance. Focus forward on the Savior and do not doubt or fear. vocalize thoughts about Him and you will feel redeemed.
Be faithful, maybe one day you'll be called upon to walk on water by the Savior....would you do it?
