So, guess what I did today?! I ran! OK, so it was more of a turkey trot - but I did it! I ran about 3 miles pushing the stroller with Dan and Will in it. What takes more effort is just getting to the stroller. Down three flights of stairs, making sure William is fed and ready, and well padded. William was not happy at first today. He cried for awhile but I knew he was ok so I kept going, and he eventually calmed down and relaxed. Running felt pretty good, though it feels like I am starting all over again. My breathing feels great, my legs feel great, but it is amazing how much of running is in your abs (which are yet to be recovered). I have done it for two days in a row and I feel good. This pregnancy was so much better for me. I worked hard and it is paying off! Hooray! I feel tired (of course) but great!
I took all three kiddos to the store today. That was fun. Luckily, Will was asleep. Fitting all three kids in the cart is a trick! It was fun though.
We have had some pretty great weather here. Lots of thunder and lightening. I love thunder and lightening! It has been so close and so intense that our apartment building shook as if there was an earthquake - amazing! The kids love it too! Well, they love to hide from it. It is always so exciting. Growing up in Alaska I did not get to experience the great storms. I love it!
Well, that is all for now. Charles has been studying his brains out for the Bar exam. So nerve racking! He is gone pretty much all day everyday (except Sunday, he never studies on Sunday). So, I have been home with the kids. I am so glad I have been able to recover pretty quickly this time, I have needed to.
Lots of love to you all!
Mari
