YUM, YUM!Sammi and Daniel are getting ready for Halloween. Daniel wakes up every morning and the first thing he does is finds his Peter Pan costume and quickly puts it on to become Peter. I have to convince him to take it off before we go out in public - he loves it so much. Sammi will be Tink, though she really wanted to be Wendy. The only Wendy costumes I could find were almost $60 so the $18 Tinker Bell was the quick answer - she was ok with that. Well, we are preparing for the Holiday as are some of our neighbors with their decorations. We love driving around and finding great Halloween Houses, there are some pretty good ones around here. We also made our own "Halloween House" for FHE. It only lasted for so long since it also became our dessert for the evening. I thought it tasted pretty gross but dad and kids liked it!

I noticed that for your favorite reading you mentioned "Lord of the Rings/ the triple combination." Were you suggesting that the Lord of the Rings was the triple combination, or did you mean you like to read the Lord of the rings as well as the standard works of the Church? I assumed the latter, but I also know how much you love hobbits.

ReplyDeleteI thought the picture of you was really cute - I knew you were not too fond of it so I used my best judgement and held myself back from displaying for all to see :)
I suppose I should have put LOR and the scriptures in different order, though LOR holds some great truth and insight to life, well, it still comes after the "real" gospel reading. We are suppose to seek after things virtuous, lovely of good report or praiseworthy, and I would qualify LOR as all of the above. :)
